Parkville Day Camps
YOUR KIDS BELONG HERE
OUR PROGRAM
You have never been to a day camp like Heartland Camp’s. We jam-pack our days full of awesome activities and have created an environment where campers can grow together as children of God. With our Christ-centered focus, exceptional college-age counselors, and highly active programming, day campers love the time they spend at Heartland.
In addition to our activities are morning Bible studies and afternoon worships. Our counselors journey with their small group of campers through a weekly curriculum. We tie our lessons to crafts and games to help our campers comprehend just how much God loves them.
Please Register by Friday at noon the week before your desired camp week.
Registration will close Friday at noon to enable our staff to prepare for an amazing week of camp!
Registration for Parkville Day Camp 2025 is open!
Our Staff
We believe our best quality is our exceptional summer college-age staff. Their love for campers and dedication to helping them understand what living a life for Christ looks like never ceases to amaze us.
Our trained counselors are positive Christian role models who encourage campers to make the most of their time at Heartland and hold on to the lessons they learn and the friends they make.
Heartland Camp interviews and selects exceptional and qualified Christian young adults who will be camp directors, counselors, and activity/support staff (such as horse wranglers and kitchen crew).
The camp performs national and local background checks on each applicant. The staff also complete a two-week training session.
All our staff are CPR/First Aid trained and certified should any emergency situation arise.

Daily Swims
K-3rd Swims
Our K-3rd graders swim in our zero-entry pool that includes a splash area with fountains. Every swimming session has a trained lifeguard on duty at all times. Their counselors are also in the pool with them constantly watching and making sure they’re having fun!
We make sure to go over rules, that include no running, rough physical play, or making anyone feel uncomfortable while in the pool. Our lifeguards also call “DRINK BREAKS!” to keep everyone hydrated while having a blast.
If campers aren’t comfortable swimming you can provide them with flotation devices.
4th-8th Swims
Our 4th-8th graders swim in our deeper pool that includes two slides and a diving board. Every swimming session has a trained lifeguard on duty at all times. Their counselors are also in the pool with them constantly watching and making sure they are having fun!
We make sure to go over rules that include no running, rough physical play, or making anyone feel uncomfortable while in the pool. Our lifeguards also call “DRINK BREAKS!” to keep everyone hydrated while having a blast.
If campers aren’t comfortable swimming we can provide them with an alternative activity to do in the shade or you can send them with a flotation device.
Age Groups
At Heartland, we believe in small group camping. Each camper is a part of a family group, a small group of 12-14 campers with two of our AMAZING counselors.
If campers have completed K-3 grade, they will be in one of our Alpha family groups.
If campers have completed 4-6 grade, they will be in one of our Omega family groups.
If campers have completed 7-8 grade they will be in our Middle School family groups. We have two weeks of Middle School Day Camp, weeks 5 and 11.
All campers will experience swimming in the pool every day, riding a horse through our scenic pastures, hitting new goals at our archery course, and flying down our 100 ft. Slip n’ Slide!
To give our campers the best immersive faith experience possible, we will differentiate some activities such as our morning Bible study and weekly crafts and activities according to age groups. If you have any questions about this fantastic week of faith adventures, contact us.
