Heartland Center is blessed with volunteers who work throughout the year in the office as well as with maintenance.

Groups:

Gather your men’s or women’s group, youth group, family, Sunday School class, Scout Troop or anyone who may be interested to help with one of our many improvement projects. Some of our projects are indoors, some are outdoors. Projects are available for individuals or groups of all sizes and skill levels.

HERE ARE THE STEPS TO BEING A HEARTLAND SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEER:

3. Click on the volunteer position you would like below and read our job description/expectations:

4. Read this: Volunteer Policies and Procedures Packet

5. Before filling out our online volunteer form we recommend gathering the following information (you cannot save the form and finish later):

-Two character references (first and last name, reference’s email)

-Date of last tetanus shot (month/year)

-Current medications/side-affects

6. Fill out this online Heartland Camp Volunteer Form (should take 10-15 minutes):

7. For the safety of you and our campers, we require a yearly background check for all adults working with our programs. Because sensitive information is needed for a background check, we are providing you with the separate form through a secure link to submit this information. Please click on the link and it will walk you through all of the steps.

8. You should receive a confirmation email celebrating the completion of your volunteer forms! Hooray!

9. We will review your volunteer form and contact you to let you know we've received it and what to do next!

10. Show up at your week of camp ready to serve the Lord and love kids! We can't wait to serve with you.
