Living on the Edge
At Middle School Edge Camp this week we played a giant game of Pin the Tail on The Donkey, built and raced our own canoes out of random materials, went scuba diving, baked cookies in cars, and used leaf blowers to float a beach ball through a series of hanging obstacles. That's right, we were “edgy,” but none of these activities compare to the edginess of the culture of camp where all are accepted, valued, needed and loved as brothers and sisters in Christ.
What a wonderful week it has been with 20 teenagers who learned to work as a team, support one another, and care for each other. Perhaps as they go back to their normal daily lives, they make the world a little more of an Edgy place
...the good kind.
