Secret Agent Camp—Week 8
Mystery, suspects, clues, interrogations, secrecy, codes, and ciphers are just a few things on our secret agents' minds. Our agents have been trained and inducted into the HIA, Heartland Intelligence Agency. Our mission is time-sensitive, and if we do not prevail, the high ropes course will be removed from camp! (Oh No!) You campers are working diligently to investigate clues, narrow down suspects, and, eventually, find a solution. Teamwork, synergy, and problem solving are only a few necessary skills our campers are using to solve these riddles, puzzles, and ciphers.
We are honing our decoding skills during Morning Watch and Vespers. Our campers are studying the Bible, analyzing the Word, and finding applications for their lives. This week, we are learning what it means to be blessed and to bless others (the camp theme). Along with that, we've talked about hospitality and forgiveness. Both the campers and the counselors have talked about putting others first like our humble Savior Jesus.
I have seen God in our campers so much this week! Each camper is made uniquely, handmade by the Creator of the universe. Their individual gifts and talents have been used to make this week special! Some are creative, telling stories. Other campers are solving math problems or logic puzzles. We are so blessed with a diverse group of campers, and we can't wait for more ACTION-PACKED adventures!
