Finals Week Devotional

This is a finals week devotional for all you crazy college kids out there. Finals is a time of chaos, of busyness, of huge deadlines, and lots of stress. In all of that it can be hard to stop. Hard to stop worrying, stop studying, and let’s be honest stop procrastinating. It is easy to get so caught up in our lives and our stress that we forget the most important things. We forget God.

Family Devotional

Having a devotional time with the entire family sounds great, but is never quite as easy as it sounds. There are a lot of unknowns. What story should I read? What can the whole family understand? What questions do I ask? I believe this devotional can help with some of those unknowns.

I have spent most of the last two weeks combing through the Bible to find stories about forgiveness, trust, and courage for our Parkville and Olathe Day Camps. One story stuck out to me to share with you as a family devotional, the story of Jonah.

This summer our theme was Love Never Fails. We learned about the amazing unceasing love of God through reading the Bible, prayer, worship and community. Our hope is that if anyone who came onto camp remembered nothing else, they would remember that “nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39. To help remember Gods unceasing love here is a devotional to share with your child.
