Amazing Race Camp—Week 7
The Amazing Race campers are having a great experience so far! As you know, the race started when you dropped your child off, and they received their first clue. Since that point, we haven't stopped! We started the week racing in and around Union Station and ended our race day at The Scout. Be sure to ask your camper what a "Harvey's Girl" is!
Next, we traveled together to Osage Beach, Missouri. On the way, we learned a little about pigs and superheroes and a lot about trust and loving others as God's children. Once in the Ozarks, we filled our time exploring Ha Ha Tonka State Park. There was a lot of walking, but the sights were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! God did some amazing work when He created these natural springs.
In addition, our campers have been able to plan and cook dinner for their fellow campers. Seeing their passion and creativity in this activity is wonderful! We have truly been eating like royalty.
We have another day of racing to come before we have to pack up and head back to Kansas City. But we are so excited about our upcoming adventure!
Thank you for sharing your children with us this week! They have been a blessing, and we can't wait for them to share with you on Saturday morning what their favorite parts were- hopefully, they share a few things before they fall asleep!
